The Big Question: "Do you use AI?"

This day and age, it's a fair question. And the answer is "yes," but probably not in the way you're thinking. Here are some ways that I use artificial intelligence:

  • AI-enabled software (Rev, Otter, Zoom) is used to quickly transform recorded calls into transcripts.

  • Tools like Chat GPT, Claude, and Gemini are sometimes used for performing deep research, consolidating/organizing notes, and conducting market analysis. All research sources are first verified and double-checked to avoid any hallucinations or plagiarism.

  • The Enterprise version of Chat GPT is used so that any calls or other content uploaded remains confidential and is NOT used for training Open AI's large language models.

  • Claude Code was used in the creation of my web-based app forword.io.

Now here are some ways that AI is NOT used:

  • AI is not used for drafting material for projects. Why? Because it always sucks.

  • AI is not used for editing material. Because it also really sucks at this.

Plus, AI-generated content cannot be copyrighted, therefore, anything drafted by AI during the process of consolidating/organizing notes is always revised and rewritten without exception. Any ghostwriter or editor who uses AI-generated text in your project is putting you at risk for being unable to copyright your project. No material is edited with AI tools.

AI statement

because transparency isn't artificial.
